Rajnath Singh Touring Odisha Ahead of Elections

In an effort to boost the morale of its workers and leaders before the upcoming elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated strong efforts in the state. The party’s senior leader and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has a one-day itinerary planned for Thursday. He is set to visit Navrangpur, Barahampur, and Bariipada. In Barahampur, Singh will address a massive rally of BJP workers and discuss election strategies with district units in Navrangpur and Bariipada.

According to BJP sources, senior leader Rajnath Singh is scheduled to arrive at Navrangpur from Visakhapatnam airport at 10:50 AM on the 22nd of February. From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, he will hold a one-hour meeting with leaders of the BJP core committee in the district. Following this, Singh will arrive at the Rangeliunda airstrip in Barahampur via private helicopter around 12:30 PM. There, from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, he will address a party workers’ meeting.

NSG Team to Arrive in Ranchi Tonight

Afterward, Singh will descend via helicopter to Aramda airstrip in Mayurbhanj, where he will discuss organizational and election issues with members of the Mayurbhanj district BJP core committee from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

His program includes a direct return to Delhi from Aramda airstrip. The NSG team, responsible for his security, will arrive in Barahampur tonight and oversee security arrangements.

Discussion on Election Strategy

State BJP President Manmohan Samal stated, “Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting Odisha on a one-day tour on 22nd February. He will tour Navrangpur, Barahampur, and Bariipada. He will also address a workers’ convention in Barahampur to discuss the election strategy for 2024.”

PM Modi to Visit Jagannath Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Odisha soon. The details and schedule of his tour will be announced shortly, as confirmed by BJP State President Manmohan Samal. He mentioned that the Prime Minister will first visit the Jagannath Temple upon his arrival in Odisha.
