On January 22 (Monday), in honor of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratistha celebration in Ayodhya, a unique schedule will unfold across Odisha. All government offices, including Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive), will observe a half-day closure until 2:30 PM.

This special arrangement, announced by the Revenue & Disaster Management Department of the Odisha government, aims to mark the significance of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratistha event. The department issued a notification on Thursday, outlining the temporary closure of these offices.

Earlier in the day, the Government of India’s Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions also echoed this sentiment. They issued a parallel directive indicating a half-day closure, until 2:30 PM, for Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments on January 22, 2024, aligning with the auspicious occasion of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

This unique scheduling not only underscores the cultural importance of the celebration but also reflects a coordinated effort between the central and state government bodies to observe and respect the religious significance of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratistha.
