Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates State-of-the-Art IMS and SUM Hospital Campus in Phulanakhara

CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the new campus of IMS and SUM Hospital at Phulanakhara, strategically located on NH-16 between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The inauguration took place on Sunday, marking a milestone for healthcare in the region.

State-of-the-Art Facility for Enhanced Healthcare

Patnaik expressed optimism about the new facility, stating that it would significantly enhance healthcare services in both twin cities and the entire state. The new hospital is set to begin with approximately 750 beds and aims to escalate this number to 3,000 within the next two years. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including advanced cancer care services.

Advanced Oncology Care

One of the notable features of the new hospital is its comprehensive Oncology care facilities. This encompasses radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and advanced diagnostic equipment. Patients will benefit from world-class treatment in a location accessible from anywhere.

The Phulnakhara campus will house various departments, ensuring comprehensive medical services. These include General Medicine, Pediatrics, Critical Care Medicine, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, and many more.
