Prime Minister Narendra Modi Unveils Odisha Development Projects

In Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to reveal new development projects on Tuesday during his visit to the state. These projects cover railways, roads, transport and highways, oil and gas, and atomic energy. The total cost of these projects is Rs 19,600 crore.

At Paradip refinery, PM Modi will open the mono ethylene glycol project of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. This will help to reduce India’s need to import this product. In Paradip, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also open a 0.6 MMTPA LPG import facility.

PM Modi will also reveal the expansion of four roads: Binjabahal to Tileibani section of NH-49, Singhara to Binjabahal section of NH-49, Balasore-Jharpokharia section of NH-18, and Tangi-Bhubaneswar section of NH-16.

Around 3:30 pm, the PM will arrive at Chandikhole in Jajpur district and speak at a public rally.

For the eight-laning of Chandikhole-Paradip road, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone. Additionally, the PM will dedicate the Bansapani-Daitari-Tomka-Jakhapura rail line (162 km) to the nation.

At Odisha Sands Complex of Indian Rare Earths Ltd, PM Modi will also open a 5-mld seawater desalination plant developed by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.

On February 3, PM Modi visited the state and revealed projects worth over Rs 68,000 crore.
