The Karma Dance is performed by the Ghasi community during Bhadraba as an offering to goddess Karma.

Signature dishes include Karadi Besara (mustard-based bamboo shoot), Bara (lentil fritters) and Chhena Poda, alongside the wider Western Odisha staples of rice, Dalma and Pakhala.
