Your window to Western Odisha
Sundargarh Mirror is an independent editorial magazine devoted to the ten districts of the Kosal region — Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Balangir, Subarnapur, Boudh, Kalahandi and Nuapada.
We publish reported stories on tourism, culture, food and festivals, and we lean on writers who live in the region. Our goal is simple: to be the most careful, most curious record of Western Odisha's present, so it isn't missed on the way to becoming its past.
What we cover
- Tourism — waterfalls, sanctuaries, temples and less-visited trails.
- Culture — Chhau, Sambalpuri handloom, tribal art, folk theatre.
- Food — pakhala kitchens, mahua brews, forest greens, weekly haats.
- Festivals — Nuakhai, Dhanuyatra, Sitalsasthi, tribal harvest rites.
