The deceased, Mitu Lakra of Bhikapada in Kutnia, was employed at a private factory in the Rajgangpur area.
The collision occurred on the morning of Thursday at Bhaluduma, a location within the Rajgangpur police station jurisdiction. Lakra was riding his motorcycle when the state-run bus service vehicle struck him, according to police.
Lakra resided in Bhikapada village, which falls under Kutnia panchayat in the Rajgangpur police station area. He worked at a private factory also situated within the same police station limits.
