The inaugural run was marked by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, who also serves as the MLA of Patnagarh. Singh Deo travelled on the bus alongside passengers, commencing the journey from Bhubaneswar station to Patnagarh. Upon arrival in Patnagarh, the Deputy CM was warmly received by local residents, with Sub-Collector Sunil Meher and SDPO Sadanand Pujahari leading the official welcome. Addressing the gathering, Singh Deo emphasized that the new service would significantly benefit pilgrims and tourists, enabling people from Khaprakhol, Patnagarh, and surrounding areas to travel conveniently to Puri for the darshan of Lord Jagannath.
