Bhubaneswar, Sept 29 (PTI) The Odisha authorities has annulled the public sale technique of Teherai iron ore and manganese block in Sundargarh district as a consequence of gentle response from the bidders, a notification mentioned.

The state authorities had began the method of public sale of 11 mines and Teherai was the second block to have been withdrawn from bidding.

The Directorate of Mines mentioned within the notification that the choice was taken since there have been lower than three technically certified bidders for this composite mining block.

On September 22, the federal government had placed on maintain the public sale of bauxite blocks in Karlapat space in Kalahandi district due to a court docket order.

Of the 11 blocks up for grabs, seven are iron ore blocks, two composite blocks of iron ore and manganese, one composite block of iron ore and dolomite, and a bauxite block.

Odisha has obtained 123 bids for the 11 mineral blocks.

Jindal Metal and Energy Restricted, Adani, JSW, Tata Metal, ArcelorMittal, Essel Mining and Industries Restricted, Rungta Mines Ltd, MSPL, Vedanta, and NMDC are within the race. PTI AAM
